Outside Lights

Hey all was wondering if someone can tell me why my outside spot lights wont come on when I try and turn them on at the inside control panel. I remember reading something about this a couple of years ago, but cant remember what advice was given. I think it had to do with another switch somewhere or something.

If you are talking about the scare lights, there is a button on the remote for those. I think the remote overrides the wall switches.

Thanks KT now that you mention that I checked. That was not the problem so maybe the bulb needs replaced.

Before you climb up to change a bulb, open the panel that houses your scare light switch to make sure the wire didn't come loose from the back of the switch. My 2010 3150RL was delivered to me that way and I found it myself. The dealer PDI was a joke.

I am glad that i am not the only one that suffers from "Senior Moment Disease". It took a few minutes, but YES, the remote does override the manual control on the control panel. Turn it on with the remote when arriving home at noght and shut it off with the remote as you walk in the door. Judst don't forget to put it back in the truck when you go back out the next time. Have a Good Day
