My propane regulator is shot

My propane regulator is shot and will not change to full tank from empty automatically. Also the change over lever is very hard to move. Mine is nine years old and it appears that is is no longer manufactured.

What is a good replacement regulator?

There was a great article on propane tanks in the current Escapee magazine.

Many good manufacturers out there, lowes, home depot, many hardware stores offer choices. We bought a Marsh as a replacement and it worked well for us in one of our old units.

Just replaced mine. It actually failed about two years ago and I manually messed with the tanks for a while since our propane usage was minimal. But now with the colder winter upon us, and we fulltime at our house where minimal electricity is available meaning more propane is used, I replaced it. Bought it from a local RV store for less than $50 and replaced it myself. While it was not a perfect replacement because the mounting holes were different, I was able to shoehorn it into place and now switchover works great!
