monument valley

A knock on my door after setting up at gouldings in monument valley rewarded me with meeting only my third moc member in 3+ years of fulltiming. Capt Chris, it was great to meet you! We are off tomorrow for Meteor Crater rv park for one night, then Springerville Az for a couple of days. Short drive from there to VLA (very large array) on the datil plains of new mexico for a tour. John

Yum, pietown sounds good. How can I pass that up. Thanks for the suggestion. Didn't think they were known for cow patties, but I was taking a wait and see attitude on this one. John

Pie town is closed on some days of the week and the hours might be something like 7am to 3 pm. We stayed there and the restaurant was closed.

And, the VLA (Very Large Array) is worth visiting east of Pie Town. Say hi to Chris and Lynn for us.
