Lots of folks probably have not seen. Having watched it several times, the driver was responsible for his problems.

I just wonder how much damage the rock tunnel caused, looks like the awning may have been damaged and I saw no A/C unit on the front. I felt so sorry for the guy, he and his wife must have been really nervous and upset. But, you really do have to watch for the signs and know where you can go and where you can't go.
I remember getting a tad bit lost when we were trying to find Mikey and Diane. I drove into a residential neighborhood, turned left and up a steep hill to a dead end. Had to back down around a curve and up another street. Tried to blame it on Mikey, but had to own the mistake.. :0

Makes my truckers atlas and my Rand Mcnally GPS look like a cheap investment. Not to mention a little time looking them over before you start the trip.

Yes, this is easily my biggest fear with the Montana on the back: missing a sign and suddenly being in a situation like this poor schlub found himself in...

We were camping in Morro Bay State Park this past August. I was going around looking at other Montanas and met one of the park hosts. Guess what!? He was the guy in the UTube clip! He was very nice and contrary to some of the posts indicating he was "stupid" he is extremely well spoken and anything but "stupid". We talked for a while and I got the whole story. At the time you can imagine he was not a "happy camper" but has since developed the ability to laugh at himself. And remember we are all just a missed sign away from doing something similar. I invited him to join the Forum but haven't seen him yet. Dennis

Wow, what a small world!
You are right Dennis, just a bit of not paying attention for a minute and there you are. Slowing traffic behind you when you realize you have made a big mistake, can't pull over, pressure-pressure.
We have thought about having Sue drive her car when we travel, but I realize I really need her to help navigate, I am perfectly capable of pulling some colossal bone-head move, and getting myself in hot water.
Sides... I like her company She feeds me cookies and listens to my B.S. (Beer stories ) I think we all like our co-pilots

I saw that video when it first aired and I can agree that things can happen pretty fast. It only takes one little mistake and then you have it.

I would like to see him join in the forum after all he is already a celebrity of sorts!

I did not see the video.

BUT I opened the catalog. The catalog changed my Google settings It took me an hour to get the tool bars back in place and the colors are still different. I can live with the colors but was very disappointed this catalog acted as a virus and made changes to my computer!

Yikes!
I will remove the link.
I have been working to get an easier catalog system. I'm sorry that happened to you.
