Headboard removal

Has anyone removed their headboard. Carol wants to redecorate the fabrics in bedroom. This would require the removal of the headboard. I have looked, but can not see how it is attached. Help will be greatly appreciated.

Ours is screwed on. Look between the ruffles.
If you lightly pull on the headboard you should be able to tell where the screws are located.

Ours is also screwed on. The screws are in the ruffles as mentioned. Our screws happens to be showing.

Ours was screwed also on. I removed it and recovered it to match the quilt a couple of years ago when I redid the bedroom. Look under the ruffles as others have stated.

Doesn't it make sense that the bed's headboard would be "screwed" on? Ha, Ha, Ha.

We removed our headboard and I made an oak headboard from 1/4 oak ply and 1 x 6 oak.

Send a message via MSN to Parrothead
We took ours off and put it in storage with the curtains, bedspread etc. We have a wall hanging there now that I created with Swedish Weaving. There were only 3 screws, the wall hanging hides one and the pillow shams hide the others.

Happy trails.......................
