wiring for "improvements"
Im looking at adding a couple of receptacles and adding a 13,500btu carrier front air conditioner. Im curious as to what type of wire you folks who make these mods use? Im not sure if I should use romex or individual conductor THHN type wire. Whats easier to fish through the roof and walls of these rigs?

THHN should only be used inside of conduit (steel or PVC). Romex is suitable for what you are wanting to do, and is what the factory originally used.

It's going to be an uphill battle either in the roof or inside an exterior wall. The exterior walls are more or less foam filled. The roof is a series of rafters with holes in them. With a little luck, you can fish the wire from ceiling duct hole to skylight to ceiling duct hole ... then depending on where your electrical panel is, it may be a challenge to get down a wall to get there. Is your unit not prewired for the second A/C?

No pre wire that Im aware of. I was hoping I could fish the wire next to the A/C ducts, my fuse panel is right at the base of the steps and the wires pull up thru an interior wall. The other outlet I want to add is inside my rear outside storage area(rear kitchen 5er). Theres a nearby receptacle that I can take power from for that.

With patience, you can take wires almost any place, (except the outside walls) I have fished all over mine, the removal of vents, lights help. (My Ozz's mods series shows the electrical panel removed, as well as the switch panel.)
Go to Home Despot and buy a fiberglass bundle of professional fishing tools, OR, just get a $12.00 fishing pole and use the sections, (without the rings on the pole for the fishing line) works good. Fiberglass is the key, metal can get you in all kinds of trouble....

Husband said to use Romex wire. Number 12 wire. He put 3 extra breakers and circuits in our previous Montana. Also did the wiring for the second AC.

Bob,
The 14-2 should handle the electric blanket with no problem, just be sure to use a 15 Amp breaker to protect the 14-2 as it is only rated for 15 amps.

Our Mountaineer was supposed to be pre-wired according to the invoice. We paid 100 bucks for that. I pulled the cover on the bedroom vent and no wire. Contacted Keystone and they pulled the build ticket; no wire for second AC. The dealer ran the wire from the panel through the basement and up through the closet. Out of sight; out of mind. I had looked at pulling the wire myself but would have to come up through the bathroom wall. Wasn't sure what was in that wall. I did look, and your floorplan, and your bath setup is different than ours.

I installed a new receptacle for a fireplace heater that I put in our unit....I took it off the 20 amp A/C breaker(dont use heater/a/c at same time)....our unit is wired for the washer dryer..I would not expect to use that so I may end up taking a line off that plug for and extra outlet in the bedroom or in the basement ..

I used the washer-dryer outlets.I do not use these for a washer or dryer and they are 20 amp independent lines directly from the breaker panel.I ran a line to the basement with a heavy duty power strip with a breaker on it witch is a 15 amp strip which I use for a ice maker, small beverage refrigerator and any other small uses.To date I have not tripped any breakers with this setup.
