Privacy Curtain

I know there is probably a thread hidden in here somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. I'd love to put a privacy curtain in between the bed and the toilet of our 3400RL and wondered if/how it could/has been done? Thanks!

If you have the Garden Tub option - it gets a little tough. Ideally the curtain should park between the tub glass enclosure and the [s]vanity[/s] wardrobe, there there is no room and the last thing you want is to get a curtain caught in there when moving the slide.

There may be some other ideas out there-

That's one of the first things we did to our 3400 as we had the sliding privacy door in our previous 2955 model. We just went to Wallmart and purchased an adjustable shower rod, maximum 72" width I think. Ours is chrome, has rubber caps on each end and you just twist the rod to expand or contract it's width. Our's butts up against the outside wall of the toilet and wall between the shower and wardrobe. My DW bought a nice curtain there as well (tab top design) and trimmed maybe 5" or so off the bottom, looks great. We take our curtain down each time we pack up and move.

We went with the expandable shower rod and curtain. This way if we want it up we can leave it or if we don't need it we can take it down. When traveling, we found out that the curtain need to be over toward the sink side, otherwise it may get caught in the bedroom slide when it is put out.

Here are a few pictures on the privacy door we installed in our 3400RL. The "drop" is from the ceiling to approx. 1" above the garden tub. We cut the crown molding square to the cabinet and mounted the privacy door against the glass shower enclosure. This left plenty of room between the glass enclosure the cabinet when the slide is in. The privacy door meets at the outside corner of the wall, between the sink and the door to the loo. I was able to "bend" the ceiling track to allow for creating a little space while the door is open to the wall.

That is EXACTLY what I want to do! Who did you get the privacy curtain from and how "wide" was it? Thanks for the pics!

Thanks

We purchased the door from Camping World. The door is manufactured by United Shade. 877-262-0954. United Shade would not sell direct. This will be a custom order, so when you order, it is yours when it arrives.
We ordered the door size: 67 x62 1/2 inches, handle type 'Single Handle' Color is Almond.
The door is 67" wide by 62 1/2" drop (height). The drop height when mounted in the ceiling track makes the total "drop" about 63 1/2" to 64". This places the bottom of the door just above the top edge of the garden tub. The single handle means there is a handle on one side of the door. At the time we were not sure if the double handle would work, it appears to me it should be fine. The double handle is 2 1/4" wide, while the single handle is 1 1/4" wide. The door is 4" when closed, "stacked".
We installed the door approx 1/4" from the glass enclosure surrounding the tub, so it hangs freely. The ceiling track is somewhat flexible and can be manipulated a little. We brought the track out straight from the wall along the shower surround and then molded it on a curve to meet up with the corner of the wall by the sink between the corner and the door to the water closet. I used an carpet knife and cut out the molding along the ceiling to fit the track. I left the vertical molding intact by placing the track next to it. I was able to locate one of the metal joists and mounted one of the screws into it and then used that to mold the track into the curve.
There are 9 colors of door material available. Bone, Cotton, Suede, Buff Tan, Ash Gray, Glacier, Snow, Cappucino, and Almond.
Hope this helps and let me know if there is anything more I can do to help!
