I have an '05 Ford F250 6.0 diesel and I pull a '06 Montana 3400 with no problem. Just got back from a trip from central CA to southern Oregon up through the shasta and trinity mountains with no issues and avg 10.3 mpg. with only 10k on the truck.
Good luck and enjoy..... (we do !!)

Sixpack: Welcome to the group, and congrats on your rig. Many people pull Montana's with Ford F250s - the engine will handle it well as will the transmission. Just be careful on the hills and the flats (hills to keep temperatures in safe zone; flats to keep the speed down -- you'll find that that Ford will pull the Montana easily and if you don't watch it, you'll be smokey food for speeding before you even realize you are going that fast!!)

Again, welcome to the group.

We put 85,000 on our 2005 F250 6L and it did a great job of towing our 2003 3295RK and 2007 3400RL.

It'll "pull" fine, but will exceed the truck's GVWR with a Montana and the heavy pin weight.
