'Nother trip to the Riverwalk

Thought I would share our second trip and lunch with youse guys.
74 degrees, mist on and off, mariachi music, cold beer, & good shopping. (I couldn't beat the company, either...)

Ozzz,

There must be a problem with your camera...thought I saw a Miller Lite in one of those pictures! Must check for a smudge on the lens.

I just have to jump in here Ozz. After Months and months of following your improvements, Changes, Upgrades and other very useful information, and i thank you very much, and listening and learning about Tow weights, Tongue weights, Axle weights, Tire weights, Truck weights and all, there's just one thing i have to ask after seeing that plate of food. "Your" Weight before the start of the trip, and whats your "Carry" weight now. Is it time you walked across a set of scales.(Laughing) Kidding a little, keep going, I'm going to do the same thing soon.

Ozz - you have made me so home sick. Being from Texas and having been to this same spot many times, I am so jealous. By the way, where did you eat? That food looked really great? Nothing like Tex-Mex!

Hi O.V.,
We ate at The original Mexican 'something', and next door to it to the South the first day, maybe the Texas 'something', Hope that gives you enough info.
We really love San Antonio, I can see why you miss it.

If you're going for barbecue, I'm sure some of the rest of us in the area may want to join you. My mouth is watering already LOL and I'm sure Chuck, Suzanne, Tim and Susan might agree.

Mark, it will have to be K.C. Mo. BBQ now, we are in Wichita Ks. and should be in K.C. this afternoon.
Last night We had Fried Chicken from a midwest favorite, Strouds. the "We choke our own Chicken" place.
When in K.C. or Wichita, try it....Green beans, mashed taters and gravy, yum yum!

The next time you're this way give a little warning and I'm sure that a bunch of us will try to look you up. SIL lives in Wichita and we try to get there about once a year. Be safe in your travels.

Kelly, I nominate you for the job of organizing a rally in your fine town.
John Hogan did a fine job with the upcoming Branson rally.
We can commandeer a few boats on the river downtown and have a Montana River Walk day, maybe intercept the Rio grand Valley traffic on the way down. Sue and I will going through San Antonio the last week in October....I think.
let us know............

There are 2 RV parks I know of on I-37, just off 410 loop, that would be handy for the RGV passers by, the one we stayed at was pretty far out, (13 miles from The Alamo) but a few miles further in is an RV Resort just off the highway that would be convenient....I think it between military highway (The Chick Fillet, yumm yumm, Wally World, Chili's..and 410.)
Mark us for your first Monte owner.

Does anyone know the name of these parks?. We are going to San Antonio in about 10 days and usually stay at the Blazing Star but they have gotten pretty expensive. We are looking for one more in the $30 a day if possible.

Thanks,
Helen

Helen, we stayed at Bruening Lake RV Resort for $17.00 a day, with our Passport. There is no limit to the days you spend there with the Passport at $17.00; I-37 at Elmendorf, the other one closer in to town by a few miles was ?? on the same side of the road.
