waste handles

I have broken over 6 handles on the waste water pull valves that have plastic handles. Does anyone know a vender who sells metal handles for the Montana. All the ones I have found screw on the pull shaft. The Montana ones have as screw that goes threw the handle into the end of the shaft.

I'm guessing the problem really isn't the plastic handles, but the amount of effort it takes to pull (or push) those handles exceeds the strength of those same handles. You may need to lubricate the guillotine valves and/or the shafts so that the amount of force needed to fulfill the job at hand does not exceed the force of friction currently present.

My experience, problem is likely not the valves but the cable runs themselves, too long and tight loops within the belly.
