Centramatics Wheel Balancers

I have read a lot about trailer wheel being balanced or not. Lug centric vs Hub centric. I did not have my G614's balanced when they were installed recently. So, I just installed the Centramatics Balancers. Now I'm not going to worry about them. We are leaving soon for a 1200 mile trip, so I'll let you know how they do.

How would one even ever know if a trailer wheel was out of balance? You could never feel it up in the truck. I've never given it a thought.

Mark, I agree, I would never feel it. Here's what I was thinking. I paid way too much money for the G614's not to get as much wear out of them as possible. I know a tire out of balance can cup and cause uneven wear, also will run at higher temps. I'm not convinced my TPMS temperature reading is very accurate, but today I towed for 450 miles and temps were about 10-20 degrees cooler than without the Balancers. So maybe it's doing some good. Not sure. Might have to wait 5 years and look at tire wear. Lol..
