Is the wireless fantastic fan worth the extra $$

Looking at putting a Ffan in the bunkhouse on the trailer..

There isn't anything there yet for electric, but the light is close. I am wondering if the extra $$ is worth it to get the wireless remote control for the fan.

thoughts?

Thanks!

Unless you are much better than I am, it my be hard to find the dumb clicker when you need it. The TV/DVD clickers are hard enough to find. The way we use ours, it is hard to conceive of why it would be needed. However, people are different and use gadgets differently. Think it through as to how you would use the fan and the control and if it fits for you, then go for it.

We also put one in our bedroom. Chose the one without the remote because we could reach it. We have both kinds. the one in the living room we love the remote because you would have to climb to use it without it. It was easy to put in since it was close to the wiring. You will love it once you get it done whichever you choose.

I believe the wireless ones come with a mounting bracket that you can mount on the wall, say just inside the bunk room. You do not have to remove it from the brack to use it so it shouldn't get lost or misplaced. Definately an option if you can not easily reach the ceiling to manually control the unit.

I have a velcro strip on all of my remotes and mount the companion strip at a convenient spot.....like the bedroom TV remote - we have a strip on either side of the bed so both of us may 'hang' it when we aren't using it.

Never had a remote for my FVents......
