Got my birthday present a day early

Got home from work and there on the front porch was a new Kipor IG3000 electric start generator with the rv pigtail. Still in the box for now, but I am sure curiosity will have me firing it up this weekend just to hear it. Tweety's went all out and included a small laser pointer type device which I immediately proceeded to use to drive Jamie (our cat) crazy chasing a red dot on the floor. Simple pleasures!!!!! Got the autoformer, ems and all the hookups for this winter's electric protection project for the rid, now all that is left is to get motivated. Gotta get through four finals next week first though. Merry CHRISTmas to all and Happy Birthday to me!!!

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Bingo...... happy birthday to you.

Glad you got your birthday prize that is making you smile. Nothing better than a new toy to get you motivated in your RV projects.

Good luck on your finals......you can do IT.

Happy Birthday Bingo, and Merry Christmas to you and Cathy. Have fun checking out the generator, and a wish for quick and easy installs on all the items.

Bingo, first let me wish you a happy birthday and also the holidays ahead.
Second, I'd like to remind you of the job ahead of the electrical wireing on your Montana. Now I know you have been watching the MOC forum and read the posts about using the gen and the autoformer and that you can't use them together, right!
I have both the Hughes and the Kipor and luckily did not use them both at once. I found out here on this forum that the gen will burn up the autoformer. This forum makes it nice to learn the things not to do by reading other peoples mistakes or bad fortunes.
Oh, did I wish you a happy birthday, have a great one!

Thanks Emmel and everone else on the B-day wishes. Emmel, the final design drawings were posted on another thread, and the autoformer will be on shore line feed only, ems will be on both gen and shore feed. I believe that I have a design that should cover the rig reliably. Timothy, Tony is never right, they are saying 2-4 inches at the house, which allowing for the past accuracy in the forecasts, either means rain or about a foot and a half of snow. This displaced Randolph Countian (for those not in the know - 120-180 inches of snow a year is not uncommon in some areas of the county), is not intimidated anyway, however the Charlestonites that will be on the road are another matter altogether!!!!!

Check the oil level before running. Sometimes things come without oil. I wouldn't want you to have rain on your birthday.
