3580 Owners: Kitchen Triangle

DW and I were having a discussion around how efficient this layout is with respect to "the Triangle". Sink, stove and fridge. Our trailer came in just last week but we won't be doing PDI until the spring. Are you users finding the fridge is too far away for efficient use? What is your experience? Also, are you using the linen closet beside the fridge? Also wondering how many 3580 owners are on MOC with us now.

Not an answer to your question, but is it wise to wait so long to do the inspection?

March is around the corner and the owner/salesperson is a good friend.

If we were to buy a new unit, it would be the 3580! We like the idea of the island and the floor plan over all! Good luck with your choice and I'm also curious on why you are waiting for the PDI till spring! I'd be going through it now, especially if it is in already. The PDI is to find things that may be wrong with the unit before you take it home or on the road. This would give your dealer(friend) time to get it all made right and you wouldn't have to wait then for any repairs!

You might want to verify that your friend has not told Keystone that the trailer is sold. I believe they have a 90 day period after sale for free repairs/replacement in addition to warranty issues.

Took delivery of our 3580 last wednesday - did three days - two nights in it. The triangle on the kitchen side will be for box food items and "peanut butter jars" we use for loose foods items (cereal, sugar, flour, dog food, etc. They will not fit the pull out basket storgae unit. The other side of the triangle top has extra rools of paper towels...lower unit may get the linens/towels...that stuff is still in a box in the closet - may not be big enought for six bath towels and six hand towels.....
We love the floor plan and 5 of our friends who own other MOnatana floor plans say it would be their chooixw if they we going new.
