Storage misconception with the 3750

When we initially bought the 3750, one of the only concerns we had was the storage that was provided in the basement and the under bed compartment. After spending a week at the beach, our concerns have been set aside. Although the basement compartment is indeed smaller, I think that the amount of lost volume appears to be made up in the outside storage beneath the bed at the bedroom slide. I cannot remember the dimensions, but when we were packing up, I was pleasantly surprised that this area held: two wide lounge zero-gravity chairs, two folding rocking chairs, Coleman 13' dining canopy, Camping World folding hammock, Baggo game, Washers game, Bocce set, 8' x 20' outdoor carpet and two folding outdoor end tables. At the end of it all, I have reached the conclusion that we have not taken any kind of storage "hit" going from the 3400 to the 3750. However, I also know that there were some things that were just taking up room in the 3400 that are now missing from the 3750.

That’s great, you now have more room for those things from CW trips!

I second that Bingo. We went from a 3400 to a 3750 as well.

I agree, also. I have more storage than my Alpenlite.

A big ditto. When we picked up our 3750 I asked the dealer where the rest of our belly storage compartment was? We were initially very concerned but after using the 3750, we learned it has plenty of storage. The main compartment holds everything we need. The front area is 25% full and the bed storage area is usually under 35% full. So we are very pleasantly surprised with the amount of storage this coach has. We love this rig! Recall and all!

I totally agree with the "We love this rig!" I have never been so comfortable. The rear entrance works well as a mud room when coming in from bad weather. The front living area, which I call the "Man Cave," is outstanding. We have been so pleased with the way the rig handles on the road.
