Exterior lights

Upon setting up for our weekend we discovered our two lights on either side of camper as well as the light on 5th hitch are on. We have unplugged the light switches, disconnect power as well as battery power and they won’t shut off!!! 2010 mountaineer . HELP!!!!

Were those lights turned on with a remote control? If so, they must be turned off with the remote.

Exterior Lights not turning off

After turning the battery off, the front cap LED lights and orange marker lights? down the sides stay on. Had to unplug the battery to get them to turn off??

TripleP - a few questions so that the smart folks here can help..
What is your year and model?
Is your pigtail unplugged from the tow vehicle?
I think you are describing your amber running lights - correct?
Are your decorative cap lights on or off?
Are you plugged into shore power?
Is this the first time this has happened?
Also - where did you “turn the battery off”? The red key in the convenience center?

This is an older thread…I think the OP was asking about the two big round security/scare lights (one on each side) and the small light over the hitch…are you also having issues with those lights? In newer models with InCommand those lights are controlled on the InCommand panel.

The amber front cap LED strips are staying on along with orange marker lights.

Not plugged into any power.

Pigtail is unplugged, yes I just picked it up so it's the first time.

I killed the power by turning the red dial in the front compartment where the battery is stored.

Research indicates these lights might have to be turned on and off by the in command unit inside the RV? I was parked in storage and was unable to access the control screen. Thanks!

If you turned the battery disconnect off nothing should be on! I suspect you turned the inverter disconnect. Look for another red disconnect. It might be in the convenience center or very near the batteries.
