Thanks DHenry!..... It really works!

Our little white dog Lucy (Malti-poo) gets the terrible reddish/brown tear stains from her eyes. I was washing her face nightly to try and keep it clean but each day the stains were back.

At the Lake Siskiyou rally, Doug & Sharon Henry shared the information about "Angel Eyes". It's a product that boasts it will keep dogs from having the messy eyes. I had heard of the product before, but didn't try it as you can only get it by mail order and it is somewhat expensive.

Anyways, Doug & Sharon started their dog on it about two weeks before the rally and showed me that their dog was tear-stain free.

I found Angel Eyes on the internet and sent away for some. VIOLA! After almost two weeks on Angel Eyes and Lucy is now stain-free.

Thanks to Doug & Sharon!!

Well we have a mini poodle with the same problem.

Did take her to see a canine eye specialist.....he said she has small drainage and eyelashes under the lids...Surgery wuld not be a choice as he does not think it would change the tear staining much. So we have ....along with the regular face washing....tried a prduct called "Lid and Lash" face scrub.....little change.

Then the Vet mentioned another product to try. But he is on vacation until June 23. When he gets back I will try this "other product" but if that does not work, then it will be "Angel Eyes" for us.

It's great knowing real peple that have had good results.

Thanks DHenry for the information....and Thank You D and M on the road for the updates and change in Lucy.

Used to have an apricot cockapoo who would get dark eyes. A groomer friend of mine uses a mixture of 1 part peroxide to 2 parts water. Wet a cotton ball, squeeze most of it out and soak the discolored area being careful not to get the mix into their eyes. Repeat as necessary (3-4 x a day) until the stains are gone. Contine as needed. Another benefit of this mix is that it is also recommended by vets to clean out minor cuts or abrasions on our doggie friends.

Vet is back....he said do the Angle Eyes.

We have been at, this thursday will be two weeks.

There already is a difference.

The red spots are not totaly gone, but the area is not as wide.

She did just get groomed last week. And there is a difference form when she has been groomed in the past.

I am totally excited about this! Paige will be two years old at the end of October. for the past year in a half. I have had people ask "whats wrong with her eyes?' or "why does her eyes look like they are bleeding?"

As for the saying or song.....the other night when i annouced "dinner time" to my two girls. I saked Paige "Come on you want to get your "angle dust"....now the family is teasing me everynight when I feed them.

DHenry and DandMOnTheRoad......THANKS!
