Wanna go on a service call?

Just got back from fixing 2 furnaces in the snowstorm, wanted to invite you along for the drive in the snow, strap in, grab the 'Panic hand-holds' in the truck, and we will be home in a few...

Those 2 furnace owners will be mighty happy thanks to you. Thanks for the picture show, too. Where I live I can't relate to it and hope I never do.

Yea, one guy had 3 little crumb-crunchers running around the house, he was surprised I got to him in an hour.
The other call was a young couple with two Pit Bulls...I always quietly ask myself "Why?"
Every dog owner tells me "They are friendly, never have bitten anyone.." and I tell them don't let me be the first, or no fixxee furnace.

But that would remove all the fun and challenge of driving in that!
Nice pictures Ozz!

Thanks! It was kinda fun, the locking differential, new Michelin tires and 4-wheel drive adds to the enjoyment.

Ole New Mexico saying, "4-wheel drive and winch only means you will walk farther to get help". The guy that bought my house there also owns my last store bought snow shovel.

Well Ozz you have it right on the snow and wind! The temp is 5* now and will get down to -1* tonight with a high of 7* tomarrow and winds gusting to 40mph here in Omaha. Don't even want think of what the windchill will be! Sure am glad I'm not delivering mail anymore! I spent 32 years out in the cold winter weather, getting stuck on the side streets(and sometimes on the main streets also), and putting up with government regs. Don't need that anymore! I can feel your pains on service calls this time of year. I can definately relate about the two pit bulls also! I never met anyone that thinks his/her dog isn't the perfect dog. Got bit three times over my career and only once was my own fault by not having the pepper spray or the mailbag ready. Sure glad I have someone plow the snow here at the stick also. With an 85' double drive with a circle drive connected it takes quite a while to clear it. I figure for the price they want for doing it, it is totally worth me not going out in the below zero windchills and trying to clear it all myself.
Got a call from jpkelpe today and they just had to call to see what was going on here! They are down in Florida at the present and just wanted to rub it in a little I think! No problem! I don't have to run my A/C anyway!
John and Sharon-- Who's your money on for the Super Bowl??

Wow, I think it's colder up your way. I am at 5 this morning, have 5' drifts around the Casa. I just got a service call, not urgent, but have to get it today. The duplex has a water heater installed in front of the furnace, can't even touch the wiring when hugging then water heater. I just shake my head and wonder what they were thinking. Florida...or anywhere else sounds good right now, I will be sweet getting out of here before next winter. 7 months 13 days 2 hrs 10 seconds...
I don't want to jinx the team, so I will silently cheer for them.
