TR6 ALUM. RIMS - SAFETY CONCERN

SPENT THIS WEEKEND ON THE MONTANA OWNERS WEB SITE LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON THE G614 TIRE VS THE MARATHON. DECIDED TO GET THE G614 TIRES. NOW FOR THE EXISTING RIMS SIUATION.
IT SEEMS THE TR6 ALUM RIMS (WAY BACK) WHERE RE-CERTIFIED TO HANDLE THE 3700 LBS LOAD WITH THE G614 TIRE. A WHITE STICKER FROM TREDIT OR KEYSTONE WAS OBTAINED.
JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH TREDIT AND WAS TOLD THIS RE-CERTIFICATION WAS REVISED, THE TR6 CAN NOT HANDLE THE EXTRA WEIGHT.
TRIED TO CONTACT A MISSY ROGERS FROM TREDIT, BUT SHE IS ON THE ROAD.
THE TR6 ARE CURRENTLY ON MY MONTANA 2007 3400.
IN SHORT, DO NOT USE THE TR6 RIMS WITH THE G614 TIRES

You can probably thank the lawyers for this one. It's been on threads here before and unfortunately it is what it is.

Correct! Get the wheels rated for 110.
Welcome to the Forum Victor.
