I use Stanadyne in my 06 6.0 PSD for added luberocity and cetane boost. The diesel mechanic said he can see the difference when he opens fuel pumps and injector wear. Maybe he's just trying to sell the stuff but it's cheap insurance in my opinion. 74K miles with a lot of towing, no problems, so far. We'll be headed for Desert Hot Springs, CA Saturday if the snow stops falling. With this very cold weather, we'll be running the furnace all the way to Los Vegas.

Interesting topic. Cummins say you don't need anything with thier engines but they sell some in thier shops so I don't know
I have all the power I need with the Cummins but I have been sneaking peeks at Banks gear. Maybe I should give one of these treatments a try and see if it does anything. I have an 07 model does anyone know if they will effect the emission controls?

My son i law has a 2010 ford diesel truck. He uses the additive the dealer sells, summer and winter. His truck just froze up at zero degrees, while driving down the NYS Thruway. Got a bottle of 911 and it started right up.
He needs to get his diesel at a different station.
