Hot Water Heater

Help...I just bought a new 29' Montana (2004)...How do you change from gas to electric on the water heater? Thanks for your help

Make sure the hw tank is full of water first. Open the outside door to the wh and you will see a electrical switch with a pin thru it. This switch is located in the lower left corner. Remove the pin and turn on the switch, if you have your hw breaker engaged the heater will get hot. There is not a switch inside the trailer to turn the heater off...many use the circuit breaker to turn off. If you do not use the breaker you will have to turn it off with the switch outside.
It is permissable to use the electric and gas at the same time for fast heating of the water.

Dont panic, I went thru this for days,and Iam not sure they are all the same we are new at this also,as I have been told the switch on the panel(where the tank levels are) next to the water pump switch is for gas hot water and the switch on (red light on)the switch in the out side heater compartment is for the elec. we run them both it gives a faster return time on the hot water.
