Napa Valley
Anyone have any good experiences with a camp-ground in Napa Valley. We would like to take some vineyard tours and be close distance to San Francisco for day trips

When you take the tours, try the wineries on Silverado Trail. It parallels the main drag and we found the wineries to be less pretentious, at least we did a few years ago. They also might have gotten snooty by now but I hope not.

We live in the wine country, in Sonoma County. I don't know any spots in Napa but we have stayed in the KOA in Petaluma for our PDI. Normally, we're not partial to KOA's but found this one very nice. Your about 20 minutes from the wineries in Napa and Sonooma Counties. Both easy drives. You are also only about 30 minutes to the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco.
