We are Pete and Kathy Johnson from Connecticut. Just traded in our Open Range TT for a High Country 373RD. Have taken one shake out trip with it with good success. The only disappointment was that the hot water heater cannot be adjusted, we would like the water to be hotter. Used both electric and gas with no noticeable difference.

We are getting used to pulling going from a 25 foot TT to a 41 foot 5th wheel. Towing is much better just getting used the size. Pulling it with a 2018 Ram 3500 DRW 6.7 Cummings. B&W Companion hitch 18K.

Wow! Someone else with a snet.net email addy. Don't see that very often. Anyway congrats on your recent upgrade and welcome to the forum. Lots of good info and good folks here. I had on demand hot water installed and it works fairly well. It gets hot but the flow sensor is not that sensitive so for showers it is full hot then just bump it down a bit to get it right.
Happy Trails

Welcome to the forum. Lots of great people here with a ton of Montana knowledge and willing to help with questions.

I don't know what the factory thermostat is set for, but I know you can buy a 130 degree thermostat. But if your water is not getting hot enough, there may be something else going on to dilute the hot water before it reaches the faucets or shower. I can remember some other posts about it, and the problem(s) found, but can't remember what they were now.

Welcome to the forum from Arizona. I have fond the water to be far too hot on al three of the rigs I have owned so something may be going on with your heater. Maybe call the manufacturer?
