Seen a saying a short while back...... "Dogs have masters, Cats have servants"

So true in many ways.

We have two Russian blues who always ride in the truck with us. Would question their safety in the fifth wheel.

We have been traveling since 2011with out cat/cats in the 5th wheel it was the best way to go , the cats were happy and relaxed. Before that having the cat in a carrier in the back seat was a night mare. Happy cats happy campers

Forgot about the slides

I forgot to mention that the bedroom slide out in our 3150RL has a couple holes along side the bed. We just put he cat in the bathroom and plug the holes with blankets and let the cat out of the bag opps bathroom.

Just don't leave your kitty in there while you are sitting still idling, it could get carbon monoxide poisoning.
That's one of several reasons it's against the law for people to ride in a towed 5th wheel.

We travel with 3 cats. They all ride in the cab of the truck with harnesses on. They have food, water and a litter box should they need it.

We did have one instance where our younger male was interested in what going on while I was outside hitching up the rig. He got up on the drivers seat with his front legs on the sill and locked the door. Windows are rolled up, engine is idling and we are alone at 11,000 feet with no cell service. After a quick panic my wife remembered she had a spare key in her purse and we were lucky it was still in the rig.

I now have a spare key outside the truck.
