New 2955RL is in the Driveway

We have just picked up our new Montana 2955rl from the dealer. Must say I am very impressed with the quality of the product. We spent about 3 hours looking over the trailer and found only two minor problems. The rechargable flashlight does not work and I have one speaker in the rear of the trailer that does not work properly. Other wise, I see nothing wrong. We are like two kids with a new toy. The dealer (Rollin-On RV in Schererville, Indiana) was great and had checked everything before we got there. That included pressurizing the gas and water lines with air to ckeck for leaks. The tires were inflated properly and it was full of water. Thanks to MOC for your help.

Congratulations on your new 2955 Montana! We also have the same trailer and just love it. We bought ours in 2002 and it has been great. No major problems at all. I know that you are going to enjoy it more each time that you use it. Happy traveling!

Congrats on your new 2955RL, nice choice, we just picked up our 2006 3295RK up on 4/24. We also were impressed with the quality. We also found that the rechargeable flash light didn't work and the kitchen sink p trap leaked. There was a missing gasket on the tail section of the sink drain. We have been outfitting out Monty, and have had a dry run this last weekend in our drive way. Every thing worked fine. We have added memory foam to the bed. The mattress was just too hard... Again congrats on your new rig.. This is a great site, with lots of good info..

Welcome Bruce to the ever growing MOC Family.
You have discovered what some many of us MOCers have known right along and that is "Montana builds a quality product". You model choice is a good one as we have been full timing in our 04 2955RL for over 2 1/2 years with few minor problems and nothing major.

Congatulations! I know a lot of tension must finally be over. We are waiting for our new Monty to come in the last of May or first of June. I will just be happy when it's here so I can stop thinking about what might be wrong with it. Hope we all meet up sometime.

We have a 2005 2955RL - just love it - I had to chuckle when you said one of the rear speakers does not work. I guess keystone is unfortunately STILL using the Quest stereo system. It really is a piece of you know what. It is a shame that a unit such as our Montanas still continue with sub standard stereo equipment.
All that being said, you will love your Monty, good luck and many happy years on 5th wheeling.

We just bought one, too, and love it. Congratulations. Oddly enough, our flashlight didn't work, either.
