41. To keep FRESH FLOWERS longer Add a little Clorox, or 2 Bayer aspirin, or just use 7-up instead of water.

42. When you go to buy bread in the grocery store, have you ever wondered which is the freshest, so you "squeeze" for freshness or
softness? Did you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week? Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each day has a different color twist tie. They are:
Monday = Blue,
Tuesday = Green,
Thursday = Red
Friday = White and
Saturday = Yellow.
So if today was Thursday, you would want red twist tie; not white which is Fridays (almost a week old)! The colors go alphabetically by color Blue- Green - Red - White - Yellow, Monday through Saturday. Very easy to remember. I thought this was interesting. I looked in the grocery store and the bread wrappers DO have different twist ties, and even the ones with the plastic clips have different colors. You learn something new everyday! Enjoy fresh bread when you buy bread with the right color on the day you are shopping.

WOW!! You weren't kidding about the board being slow--but you sure perked it up single (or double) handedly. Your hints and tips are wild wacky and terrific. Where in the world have you found them all??WATCH OUT or someone will think you are Heloise in disguise. One word of caution. In tip #30 on this thread, be sure to wash glasses after application of remedy or there could be a problem Oh what the heck--go back to the Vodka thread and follow #3--it really is much simpler and of course #21 will always work. Thanks for a lot of good advice and some good belly laughs. Made our day!

This would be a good place to remind everyone that information posted on the forum should be evaluated very carefully and that the MOC is NOT responsible for the information posted by the various members of the forum.

Thank you for the disclaimer. I have tried a bunch of these but not all so I can't tell you if they work for sure or not. Just passing on what people have told me in the past. If you find something doesn't work then let us know so we can cross if off the list.

Great tips! I'd be careful about # 10 though, I've heard it really does releive some aches BUT, there are other chemicals in the WD40 that are also absorbed into the skin that are not good for you in a medical way.
