I have another email into my sister about the military rv camp at Kingsley Field.

Her husband is a retired (civilian) firefighter from Kingsley Field, but he medically retired about 10 years ago, so we'll see if he knows much about it.

All he remembers is that it is "bare-bones" and didn't have sewer hook-ups but there was a dumpstation. Very small, 10 sites or so.
Here's a Kingsley Field phone number for more up-to-date information on the campground: (541) 885-6365.

As you go further north out of Klamath Falls and into Chiloquin, there is a very nice state park, Collier, which also has a logging museum. If you drive around the hills in that area you will be surprised at the expansive miniature trains/tracks. Someone has invested a lot in it.

Here's an email I received from my brother-in-law about Kingsley Field:

You have to be able to get on the base with some type of military I.D.

Vets don't qualify, only retired or active members.

Call 541-885-6350
push 0

Ask for John Piers(Peeries)

$12 per day
$60 per week

More than two week stay John needs to know ahead of time.

Entry is through the front gate.

They have 5 RV spaces and do not take reservations.

Hope this helps.
