If all else fails, check for loose screws on the return buss strip inside the breaker panel. This is the buss strip that all the white wires are screwed into. Sometimes one or more of these wire securing screws work loose causing the circuit connected to that wire or wires to go dead.

Well gang it was the GFI. The kudos go to Carol for hitting it on the head. I will say that I had checked this very GFI before I got on the forum. I will admit that I was reading it incorrectly. There was a red light buring, which for some reason I took to mean it was set and working, and if the light was out, then something was wrong and it was tripped. NO WAY! I had it backwards, and of course when I did hit the re-set, thing went to working. I did find out that this GFI controls several things to include the outside plugs. So I did learn a couple of things. I really felt silly. Thanks again to you all for your advice.

DO not feel silly, we all have been there, done that. Glad you found it!!
Wait till one of em goes bad and makes the most horrendous noise! Now,that was an interesting morning! We were in Arlington Texas, and Al managed to find a replacement in record time, had it in and functioning right quick like.
Glad ya found out what was causing the outage!

I am a bit grouchy tonite. There is another forum that shall remain unnamed where some folks will point to the large numbers of problem posted on the MOC as proof that Montana's are really bad campers. They fail to mention as evidenced above , that we post problem looking for help and fixes and we get them in short order..Why don't they mention the large number of post that correct problems.....Me thinks I may get booted from that forum>>>>> Think I will have a drinky...

Happy to hear the good news. That just goes to show how well MOC members are connected! What a great forum....

I bet the outside outlet tripped the GFCI. It seems sometimes they can get damp (or something) and trip for no apparant reason.
