Furniture suggestion

Keystone

I have been meaning to mention this for a while and keep forgetting.

We have the Big Sky with the Mocha Frost color combo. We upgraded to the "leather" recliner. It was a considerable amount of money. It has a label on top of the seat cushion. One of those do not remove things. Well we can't remove it. I tried pulling it off and it won't budge like most tags of that nature will. I can't cut it off as it would still show and getting close enough would make it to easy to cut the leather. The other disappointment was it's not all leather. The head rest and seat cushion are, but that's all. I think the consumer should be made aware of that situation instead of listing it as a leather recliner. My salesman told me after delivery when I brought it to his attention that is standard in the RV industry? Regardless, it should be disclosed to the customer up front.

On the fabric upholstered pieces we have a silky and antique satin type of fabric. It is dry clean only! Not only that but the fabric protection doesn't seem to work or be there. Water spots on this fabric beyond belief. The very nature of RV-ing/camping can be messy and one can have an accident easily enough. Heck that's true with just plain living. I think the fabrics should be of the type that can be cleaned by your average carpet cleaning company. The last thing I want trapped in my coach for any length of time is the chemicals and fumes from dry cleaning the furniture. With my extensive knowledge of fabric I know that type of fabric will be very unlikely to have the spots removed even with dry cleaning.

The fabrics on the regular Montana's are much nicer and certainly more practical.

I realize Keystone does not make it's furniture, but perhaps you could bring up these points to the manufacturer?

OK suggestion and vent over.

Samantha
