"It's Too Quiet!"

Everyone must be at a Rally somewhere. I haven’t seen this board this quiet in a long time! Let’s just all go camping that’s what we should be doing anyway isn’t it? Actually, we’re getting ready to pull out Sunday for southern Indiana. Not sure there is very much to do there but plan on having a good time anyway.

Weve been on the road for three weeks. Currently in Hemet Ca headed for Chula Vista on Monday. Plan to travel up the cal coast to Orsgon and then east Through the big parks then on to Ohio. Hopefully we will make the rally in Indiana before heading to Myrtle Beach in Oct. Happy travels all.

How far up into Indiana were you coming? I am 50 miles north of Louisville just off I-65. Just wondering. Hope you had fun.

No Bill, not at a rally, but I'm dying to make our first. Just not sure when it may be. Pat is still doing "JOB" thing, and gets little time off right now. However, we were out in the Monty this past weekend, down at Salt Spring, FL at the Elite RV Resort. This was our third trip, and really love getting on the road with it.

We were in Yosemite National Park the last two weeks. Only had WiFi in the Lodge at Yosemite Lakes CG, 5 miles west of the park, a 1000 Trails park. Yosemite is a GRAND place to visit, however, unless you are into a LOT of hiking and backpacking, two weeks is too much to see the park. We did enjoy "Kicking Back" at the CG and a lot of dog walking. We arrived at Lake Minden 1000 Trails in Nicolaus, CA, about 25 miles north of Sacramento. Water and 30 amp only, but they do have a honey wagon service twice a week, $15.00 a dump. Will have to watch the water usage and try to go for a week at a time. In-laws live in West Sac and my sister lives in Lincoln. SOOOOOOOO family time galore.........

Some of us are still around. Have the itch to go and get on the road as 6 weeks since bypass surgery has come and gone but must wait and see the surgen tomorrow. I think I have a non union as a couple of the wires holding me together have broken. The worst case would be a rewire and another six weeks.
Read the posts every day and making a list of alterations, improvements and roads to travel to go where ever. We have done 33 states and 8 provinces so far. Still some to go in the bucket list.
