Stain Matching
Well, I think I got a pretty good match on the stain in our 381. SW did a pretty good job, but takes some trial and error to get a good result. I applied three coats, a coat of black glaze and then one more coat of stain. I let it dry for a day and applied multiple top coats of satin poly, lightly sanding with 400 and than a final top coat. Sound worse then it is, really didn't take a lot of time, just time consuming

That looks good. I found the same stuff at Sherwin Williams for adding a couple shelves. Turned out great and the color is very close to factory. Nice job.

What year? Is this the 2019 20th? Think mine is like a grey brown.

I don't have any color codes. I just looked until I found a decent stain match. The MinWax Ebony worked well for me. I also used Poplar for the wood choice. It took the stain well and matched pretty well. I didn't let the stain sit on the wood very long. I just wiped it on and wiped it right back off.

Looks nice! I'm a pretty fair carpenter myself, but I've never been able to match the colors in any of my campers that close. Maybe I just don't have enough access to different flavors of stains.
