Insulation

HI all. A couple that we know have a motor home with out slides. they would like to know how to cover the windows on the inside to keep the cold out. I never used any, our 3485 SA has double pane and it seems to keep the cold down to a minimun. So I didn't know what to tell them. I said I would do some reshearch for them and get back to them about it. Can anyone give me advice on what to cover the windows with. The park has restrictions on what can be used that would show on the outside. No cardboard no tarps. Thanks

What comes to mind is what cold-climate stick homes use - the shrink plastic applied to the inside and heated with a hair dryer to make it taught. Still, you would want some access to fresh air to keep condensation down, in my opinion.

You can buy the shrink plastic window kits at Wally World, K Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, ACE Hardware, Tractor Supply, Menards, Dollar General, Orschlens, Family Dollar ...

When I work camped, I used insulated bubble wrap. I used the stuff with foil on both sides, the problem was it would not let light through. You can use regular bubble wrap on your windows.
