Condensation

I have a 2017 HC above my shower is a double paned skylight,I’m getting condensation inside on the upper half, it hasn’t been used in 3 weeks could this be a broken seal or is this normal?

On my rig they are two seperate pieces. You could take off the bottom and put some thin rubber around the bottom edge if it doesn't already have some.

Hi and thanks DQD
I’m curious if you also had condensation and were you missing a gasket?
I’ll check mine out and see what’s going on.

I have had some fogging over on mine at times...all depends on what the temps are outside and the attic ventilation . I have never had raindrops happen while showering.

I've never had one leak, but I've taken both of mine apart to coat the inside plastic with a decorative window tint to lower the heat coming in from the sun and make it pretty.

We have owned 3 Montana's over the years and have never had that problem. Even when we were full timing in one.

Ok,so after removing inside panel I find this, access points on either side to attic space, warm air from attic spills in between panels thus creating condensation as it is cool inside of trailer, Now should I seal up these openings or just leave it.what you say....

If it was my rig, I would seal it up.

I suspect they are all built the way your picture shows. I would leave as is.

When I put that film to cut down on heat. Mine looked like that. I have never had a problem.

You need to leave that open around there or you will have a bigger problem with condensation then you have now you need air flow between the toe panels.

Thanks guys for all the input, having ventilation seems logical between the panels I’m going to give it more thought before I do anything.
