Winterizing a 2015 Montana Help

I knew how to winterize my 2005 Montana, no problems for 10 years. Now the 2015 has the convenience center in the basement. I can see how to by pass the water tank, no problem, winterize lever to on. Do I put a hose from the Freeze guard port to the antifreeze? I would think then the pump need to be on, is that correct? When I am all done with the plumbing can I turn on the power fill for the fresh water tank fill and get antifreeze into there too?

I should saw that I try to use compressed air first to extract as much water as possible.

Any other helpful suggestion?

Thanks.

Everything you have said is correct after draining the hot water tank of course. I have never pumped antifreeze into the fresh water tank, I just open the low-point drain (beneath the trailer - not in the convenience center) and have not had a problem even in sub-zero temps. I do not use air, just pink stuff until it runs out of everywhere (including convenience center shower - which I have directly hooked to black tank flush to allow the on-board pump to winterize the black tank flush as well). You know the rest, but remember if you have the spray on the kitchen faucet to engage the spray as well as the usual stream to insure the spray faucet does not have water trapped in it as well.

If you can't get the pump to pick up anything from the antifreeze jug via the hose hooked to the Freezeguard port ... double the hose washers on the short hose from the jug. Since I have access to an adequate air compressor ... I've stepped away from pumping the pink stuff and use only air except for pouring some down each PTrap. This approach has worked well for 4 years now in temps down to zero.

I did what Diesel Guy does until I added a Washer/Dryer and then had to get the pink stuff in it so I went to the pink stuff approach.

One big difference between our 2005 and the 2015 are the water connections in the front closet for a washer. We will never have that but I must make sure the pink stuff gets into those lines as well.

We will never have a washer/dryer either, so I got under the bathroom sink area and disconnected the two water lines running to the W/D and capped them off. It eliminates the winterizing issue and as a side note got rid of the dreaded stagnant water stench that occasionally lurked out of the bathroom sink.
