Are you referencing a water flow issue at the faucet or a hot water heater not heating up?

That would be my guess. In your convienence center there is a valve to bypass the water heater when winterizing. If it's on bypass then you won't get any water. If that's the case, be sure the water heater is filled with water before turning it on our you will burn out the heating element.

I believe the bypass valve only keeps the water from going into the water heater, he should have flow to the faucets with it in bypass mode. My thought is that the water heater is filling and will not flow water until it is full.

I helped a neighbor camper a couple of years ago that had that problem. On his there was a one way valve on output side of water heater that had gone bad. Unit was a Montana.

If it's not a flow issue but a heat one. There is a little switch in the water heater compartment that must be on as well as the main switch inside your rig.

On my 05 Montana, the "heater" switch on the inside is just for the Propane Side. Also fixed the output check valve at the 9 year point as it failed.

I was going to post the same message. 2006 Montana 3500 water heater flowed hot water early in the morning and a couple hours later would not flow hot water again. No hot water flow from sink, shower, lavatory, outside shower, hot water dump valve etc. I don't think there is a bypass valve, no convienence center and don't remember seeing any valves in the water piping behind panel.
Plan to check to see if there is a check valve on the tank outlet.
Does it take special tools to change out a check valve the piping is some kind of plastic.

There aren't too many problems which can happen to a 2006 model that haven't been found and fixed already by somebody here. The key is to use the Search function.

If you search on the keywords "water heater check valve" (be sure to check the Archived Topics box) you will get 19 pages of results. A lot of them are not related to your problem. However this one is:
http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...er,check,valve

But a Search using the keyword "backflow preventer" (also check the Archive box) results in the definitive work of art discussion of the problem with pictures.

Check valve is brass and threads onto metal pipe on rear of heater. Just need two big wrenches to take it off and install new. John
