Quest DVD home theater replacement

Hi Folks
The Quest DVD player in our 2007 3295 is doing funny things and I am going to replace it, rather than fool with arguing with the Dealer over its quirks I am just going to replace it, anyone have any suggestions? Better ideas, anyone else been down this road?

Dee,

Many of us have been there and quickly ditched the Quest. I went with a Samsung HT-Q45 home theater system based on relatively reasonable cost and review by Consumer's Reports. Had to slightly modify speaker cutouts on the media center, but the overall improvement is more than worth the effort. Chances are that any decent brand you choose will provide much better sound than you have now.

I put in a Sony Home Theatre system It has the small speakers like the Quest. I changed everything incl. the speakers. Since I changed, I have now got a Quest 4000 to replace the 1000 under warranty. I have put it in the belly so I can watch Nascar on the patio or listen to music.
