Mor/ryde I/S alignment

Since we had the I/S system installed in Oct. at the Mor/ryde factory I have been watching for any unusual tire wear.. I noticed I had one tire that was wear more then the other 3 so I made an appointment to have the alignment checked at Arizona Spring in Tuscon which is a authorized service rep for Mor/ryde. Yesterday I took our trailer over to them for the alignment check and the finds were that 3 of the 4 wheel bearings were not tighten to spec and the camber and toe in were off on all 4 axles. The front axles toe in was off by close to 3/8" which was why I was wearing the right front tire. I asked Ryan at AZ Spring if he would contact Rob at Mor/ryde with his findings but also asked him to continue with the repairs as needed as I wanted the alignmen fixed.. Ryan called me with his findings and then I sent a email to Rob seeing if they would help with this bill.. Rob got back to me looking for a fair percentage that I would accept in payment to which I said I would need to look at the final bill and would get back to him today about it.. So after studying the findings over night I sent a email this morning to Rob with my thoughts as to the percentage and I just received a email stating that they would pickup the whole cost of my repairs... Talk about a great company that stands behind their product.. And also a thanks should go out to AZ Spring for their work also..
Anyone that had work done at Mor/ryde in Oct. 2015 might want to jack their trailer up an check their wheel bearings for play as it could cause excess tire wear..

Don't have that on our Monty, but I installed their wet bolt kit. One of the links wasn't welded correctly and wouldn't work. I contacted them & sent a picture and they express mailed me two replacements. They really stand by their products!

I had the honor of touring the MorRyde facility along with many other owners during the rally this past Fall. If I had to use one word to describe the whole "picture" of this company and it's staff it would have to be "IMPRESSIVE"!

We also had an issue with our IS when it was new. Failed spring. They were equally responsive. Good people and a good company.

Larry,
Glad you're having a good experience. Stuff does go wrong...it's how it's handled and addressed that matters.

I wore through a flex line on my new disk brakes as I was pulling into Yuma. The line burst and brake fluid sprayed all over. They made some temporary repairs a few days later. Parts are being shipped to me in El Mirage and a full repair/inspection will be done. I too, am happy with the response and service albeit a different company. Nice to hear in these days!

Thanks Larry for posting. Only have 1350 miles on our new MorRyde IS & Disc Brakes, and all appears to be in good working order. We will keep watch for any changes. We have been pleased with our decision to go with the MorRyde Independent Suspension and Kodiac Disc Brakes.

Many have problems with products and service, many also don't have a clue as to how and resolve those problems but to raise heck and be unreasonable. You handled it with diplomacy, tact and intelligence.
Much better results are obtained with the way you went about it.
Well done. And good for MorRyde!!

I took my 2014 to Lazy Days due to my rear axle both tires were wearing on the inside. Lazy Days stated I had a bent axle I had them replace it. After reading this post I will never go to an rv dealership again. They told me that their we no measurement to take and that all that can be done is replace the axle. They never check the bearings or measured the toe.

David, I have never taken our 5th wheel to a dealer so that has never crossed my mind... I like to take it to a company that works on axles only.. It might cost a little more but they work on axles everyday so it takes less time to figure out what is wrong..

The Mor Ryde IS system is a completely different type of equipment. It does not have the traditional "axles" in fact it has no axels at all the dealer would not have the equipment to align the IS system.
