HAPPY 231ST BIRTHDAY USMC
I (Chris) have worked for the U.S. Marine Corps as a government employee for 17 plus years; we are now called Civilian Marines by proclamation of the Commandant. I would like to wish a very Happy 231st Birthday to all who are serving and who have served the USMC in whatever capacity. OOORAH!!! The National Museum of the Marine Corps opened at Quantico today - what an auspicious beginning! And another OOORAH!!! Happy Birthday, Marines!

My unit was the 4th Recon Battalion. It was a reserve unit. I was in and out between Korea and Vietnam. Hats off in appreciation to those who met the enemy head on. Happy B'day to all my brothers and sister in the Corp.
