If he really does windows, I'll need to give this some serious consideration!

Y'all are right next to Las Vegas RV Resort where we stayed. If you get a chance drive through. I thought it was better than Sam's Town, but what do I know.

Charlie & Nila - thanks for stopping by last night. It was nice to have such a nice visit. You came just in time to help finish installing our new bedroom window and we are very grateful, especially since it's raining today.

Looking forward to seeing you both in Q!

Too bad we will miss you all we will be in Laughlin Wed and Thurs then Vegas Friday - staying in my son's driveway for the weekend before possibly moving to a park before heading back to Laughlin then back to Albuq. We are in Alamogordo, NM til Monday. Where is Las Vegas RV Resort? We have stayed at Az Charlies and the Base.

Las Vegas RV Resort, formerly Holiday Travel Park is located at:

3890 S. Nellis Blvd
Las Vegas, NV 89121-3199
Phone: (702) 451-8005

Edited: Intersection of E. Flamingo and S Nellis Blvd are the closest crossroads. If you come in off the Interstate (Believe it is I-15) onto Flamingo, turn left on Nellis. There is construction in the area, but nothing to really worry about. The "bus" made it with no problems. As you turn onto Nellis there will be a big parking lot on the right. It belongs to Sam's Town and they allow parking to use the casino but you have to go to security once you park and let them know you are there. Next to that is Sam's Town RV park for overnighters and short stays. Then Las Vegas RV Resort. I drove through the Sam's Town and was glad we stayed at Las Vegas RV Resort.

See if this link will work for a Birds Eye View

Once on the map just click on Birds Eye View.

Double click on the map and it will zoom in, or use the controls on the page on the left hand side. Click on the map and hold the left mouse button down and drag the map up and you will see the Sam's Town RV park next door. If you have zoomed in you can see that Sam's Town is all asphalt pavement, whereas LV Resort has some gravel. They also have a fenced doggie park.

Edited: Of the three, two Sam's Town, and Las Vegas RV Resort, I still think the Las Vegas RV Resort was nicer. I only drove through the other two. Might just stay there next visit and do a good compare.

Sam's Town has two RV Parks. One is Nellis and one on Boulder. The one on Nellis is NOT nice - we like the one on Boulder.

My sister in law used to stay at Las Vegas RV resort when it was Holiday and it always reminded me of a large asphalt parking lot. Because of this Sam's always seemed to be a nicer setting but it has been 10 years and things change, so I guess I'll have to wander through there and take a look
