VEGAS!!!!!

We are at the Oasis!~
Got to sneak around here, if they find out what a Rube i am, they will probably ask me to leave..
This place is just too classy for ole Jim.
Vegas traffic is HORRIBLE! We've been in the desert, no traffic, no nutin! Now, we are back in the traffic bad.
I'm never leaving here, they will have to put me to work when I run out of money!
Saw a bad accident, an Airstream Jack knifed, took pictures, hope no one was hurt, will post later, Got both A/C's going, no jackets required. It's only 78, dry, COOL BEANS!
We are in a no pet area, have to do lots of Cat wrangling to not get thrown out!
Actually, all we saw is no doggies, maybe the 3 Rip Van Winklers we have will not bother anyone here....
We will change into shorts, get the bicycles out and go meet people.
Y'all take care.
Ozz and Sue.
VEGAS, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way I like to visit casinos there is no way I'll be heading for Vegas anytime soon. When we were in Tunica, Miss they had about 12 casinos and I did them all.

Glenn, it's good to be bad..........
I have lots in K.C., Argosy, Harrah's, Ameristar, Isle of Capri.
When I was working Jim and Sue's I was a big time gambler-$50K per year, won some big bucks, now, I am retired, no job, no money, so I scaled back BIG time.
I won $8K Three times, $6K two and other smaller amounts, I would play the Roulette Wheel for 14 hrs straight.
Ahhhh, the old days. (Really don't miss it) Had no vacations, no days off really, for 14 years, made a ton of bucks fixing stuff for Chili's and On The Border, plus Two Churches and a Country Club, plus 60 or so other customers.
Just was on call 24-7, 365. Went nuts, sold the Biz, and here we are!

Ozz,
Glad to hear your enjoying the Oasis! I've paid for reservations there twice and never got there. Both times ended up broke down in the Utah desert!

Ozz,
Traffic in the Vegas area is some of the worst we've been in. And it was especially bad around the Oasis!

But it is a really nice park isn't it! It was really HOT when we were there so stayed under the AC most of the time. But sure looks nice.

Enjoy your stay.

Thanks, Dennis.
The weather now is just perfect. I can see that the Sun would be like a heat lamp boring a hole in you, but, I guess this is the perfect time to come.
We like to ride around the park on the bikes and just take it all in.

Ozz, The Oasis is a very nice RV resort. We stayed there in June 2 years ago and it was hot. We had to put the foil insulation in the windows to repel the heat. We only have one A/C and it went non stop. Have you visited the Bass Pro Shop across the highway? That is a fun store to shop in, even my wife liked it. Have fun.

You're making my mouth water.............
We have reservations at Oasis starting Nov. 6th., my daughter and family are flying in from Florida and we have a class C rented for them. Will also be spending some days at Terrible's Lakeside RV Park in Pahrump. Can't wait !!!

After that adventure we will be dropping down to Laughlin for the winter.

Rex and Mary, You will have a ball!
I'm amazed at all the rented units here. Bring your tool box, the poor guy next door has a leaking water connection on his rental Class C, it's all I can do to keep from running over there and working on it...
Have a good time!
