Brakes on Tow Vehicle

Traded the old truck with 88,000 miles, almost all towing a heavy montana and the pads weren't even close to needing replacement. Disk brakes on both Monty's however.

I traded in a 2008 Chevy 2500 SRW in 2018 with 131,000 miles and the original breaks.

If the TV is eating up front brakes, in addition to using tow/haul mode, I'd be checking the adjustment of the TBC. The trailer brakes may not be doing their share of the work.
