Ever ask yourself: Why me all the time?

Well,
The Mr. Heater we ordered came in as a Natural gas, not the Propane I ordered. So had to order the Propane again, send the first one back.
Got the Propane model quickly, that worked out.
Hooked up the Propane heater, heated super, took the 38 degree interior up to a comfy camper. I shut it off after working one day.
Came back the next day, opened the door and smelled Propane. Not heavy, not 'Boom' concentration, but it was leaking somewhere.
I used leak detection (soap bubbles everywhere on the fittings)
No bubbles.
So, back it goes, can't have Propane leaking inside.
Just got the new one, have to send the leaker back.
Hope this one does not leak.
Why me...

Perhaps someone or something is trying to slow you down so that we (the MOC) can keep up with pace that you are going at!!! It is all I can do to keep up with the postings, much less the actual work that is getting accomplished. I suspect you are multi-tasking, one hand on the keyboard for forum updates and the other with tools in it???? Fess up, Ozz!!!

Is your Monty equipped with a propane leak detector? Did it warn you or did your nose? Seems like nothing is properly assembled and tested these days- Good luck with this project or should we say problem? JHMO- Don

That is a good point, I did smell it, but the detector did not go off... hmmm, I better check it.
It is old enough that I should replace it anyway. I bet the smell would be overpowering before the detector would go off even when new.
