Are there any issues I should be wary of with these?

I don't recall any issues with ours, first Montana we bought. I understand that with the new Montana Front Living Rooms, that some outside storage is lost.

I looked at the front LR at the show last winter.

My 3150RL has more than twice the storage in the outside front area. And I use that area a lot. Next, where do you spend the most time? I do not want to walk up and down steps everytime I want something from the kitchen.

Just the loss of storage area is probably the worst thing.

For us being full time the FL or FB didn't seem to fit. It was a nice floor plan but we spend most of our waking time in the living area and kitchen area, therefore it seemed like you would be constantly going up and down steps. We also wanted a side/by/side washer and dryer. I think it is just personal preference.

How tall are you? At 6'-4"+ and with my cap on, I scrape the ceiling walking thru the front living area. The low ceiling on the FL is the deterrent for me.

I do not know of any issues with them, except you do lose a little storage, some you gain back under the master bed. Like any model, find the floorplan that works for you.

We have a 3900fb. I prefer the 3850 to the 3750. The isle outside the bath is better. I don't like that neither has a recliner. A good amount of storage is lost in both. As many others have said , it's just personal taste.

I have a 2012 3750FL and I love the floor plan. I like having the bedroom aft and the living room up front. If I go to bed early I just close the bedroom and bathroom doors. You can still have someone watching TV in the LR and not hear a thing. Plus I like the fact that the bedroom being in the back it is usually facing the woods or lake at the camp sites and not by the road which helps with outside noise from night time camp ground travelers. I also like having a big picture window in my bedroom it makes it seam a lot larger and let in a lot of light during the day if you open the shades. I am 6'1" and I still have several inches above my head in the living room due to the curved ceilings which I think they started in 2011. The only thing that I don't have a use for while camping is the back door which on the 3750 is on the same side as the front. I set up my camp site just aft of the front door and usually have stuff in front of the back door blocking it and it would be too much of a hassle to use it. The front door is all I use while camping. But it comes down to personal preference. I have had people in my RV who love it and other not so much....

We went from a rear living model to the front living room model and we love it. To address the storage issue. We moved all the items from our former unit to the front living room and have room to spare and we carry a lot. The storage under the bed room slide is deceiving when empty. I also thought we lost space but we actually gained some. We like our front living room model (3850) kitchen area a lot. I have sat at the kitchen table more in the first six months than I did in six and one half years with the other unit. As far as bumping you head when you sit down, not an issue. You automatically lean forward when getting up from the couches. If you are 6'4" or taller, maybe the ceiling height might be a problem. We don't have a side by side w/d but we do have stackable w/d. At first he front living room model was not on our list when we decided to purchase a new unit. We spent a number of hours in the units we were looking at including the front living room model and that is what we chose.
That being said, you can ask the same question about any unit and you will get different opinions. It is a matter of personal preference and yours is really the only one that matters. You will have to live with whatever unit you decide to buy. Good luck in your choice and many happy camping days.

Have a 3750FL. Love the front living area, and bedroom in rear. Loss of storage space hasn't been an issue

We have the rear living room (3400rl) had for me I love the big window where I spend a lot of time admiring the views. If we didn't have a. IWW, then it wouldn't really matter. Do do also wonder about going up and down those stairs to the fridge of an evening. We also prefer individual recliners and feel the modular seating would not be for us

We have the 3850FL and love it. Having the back door on the opposite side is great for cross ventilation, great for quickly dumping when connected to a sewer, great for the cat to watch the world go by and a good safety feature. We keep our rig in our driveway when we're not traveling with it and that back door makes it so much easier to load.

One thing we really like about the 3850FL which might be a deterrent to others is that the front lounge is a little more closed off. This creates three distinct areas; the living room, kitchen/dining and bedroom. We travel with our teens and the front is their bedroom. Having things more separate means we don't disturb them making breakfast and planning our day at the kitchen table while they sleep in.

Obviously we're not full timers, so the storage space isn't an issue. We feel like there's tons of storage.

For us, it separated the dining and living room too much. We like the dining and living area combined to make more room and everyone has a direct view of the TV and eachother. Love recliners. Up and down stairs, low ceiling, and hotter in the living area and cold in the dining area. Bedroom to large just for sleeping and changing. Storage is also less. Moved to the 3725RL. More room and as Harry Belafonte use to say: "There's Goodness in Togetherness." IMHO.

We love our 3750. Our adult kids love the privacy of front living room at night. Like having 2 bed room RV!

I hadn't thought about it till we bought ours and took it out for the first time, but a Front Livingroom is a perfect transition coach. My kids outgrew the bunks in our last SOB fifthwheel, but we figured they were going to be leaving us in a few years anyway. They love the front Livingroom! And when they've flown the coop, it's a floorplan we like too.
