3400rl question.
Can you tell me where your center galley grey tank gate handle is located? Ordered a 3455sa and the gate handle is right above the right rear tire. With the center slide in you can barely grab ahold of it. Was told its the same as the 3400 by the dealer. Also are they consistant with all years? Thanks, Tom.

Ours is between the driver side wheels on our '06 3400RL. I think that is pretty consistent with the 3400's.

Our 07 3400RL is also between the drivers side wheels and has not been a problem.

Our 2005 is between the wheels on the driver's side also. We forgot about that when we first got it many years ago. Many people have the same issue. A gentleman in Colorado had a plumber coming out because they couldn't find theirs. We saved them a costly house call.

We have a 3455sa on order as well. Our 3400rl is as above. When we were looking at the new rig, I couldn't find the galley dump valve either. The salesman thought it might be one tank for the grey and galley though he was not sure. When are you do for delivery? Ours is due in about 3 weeks!
(BTW....we are sitting by the 'fire' with the chairs turned around on the pacific ocean, watching a storm come in...favorite adult beverage in hand...in Pacifica, CA......life is very good!

Yep. Same place. Be careful to pull it out and push it in straight - it seems to be made of flimsy metal (aluminum?) and I almost bent it when squatting awkwardly with the slide out.

Our 2003 3295RK had the handle near the rear on the drivers side, aft of the wheels. Our 2001 2880RL and this 2007 3400RL have it between the wheels. I think they put it wherever they put the tank. The 3295RK, being a rear kitchen, has the galley tank more aft and thus the handle is back there, too. So anyone looking for the handle, I'd start looking on the drivers side about as far aft as the kitchen sink.

Umm, a question. Why are two of the holding tank releases in the "heated docking station" and one outside between the wheels?
Am I missing something?

The gate handles are just close to where the tank is. The Grey and Black tank are right next to the convenience center. The Galley tank is right over the wheels.

I might add a heads up on that handle in particular. We find the galley tank handle to be the one that vibrates enough to unscrew while travelling. We use a bungee cord around it in order to stop this from happening.

Yeah, we lost ours on the trip home from the dealership in Indiana to Oregon. Luckily, it has an easy enough pull that I can work it without the handle. A new one is on the shopping list, if I can ever remember to bring the list sometime. It is definitely is going to get some loc-tite put on it to avoid a repeat occurrence.

My galley tank handle is also under a slide out, so I use the awning rod to pull it open when necessary. The rod also comes in handy as a device to make sure I have enough clearance between the slides and any nearby obstacles before opening them up.
I also had the galley tank handle come loose and found I could access it to apply loctite and a new cotter pin to keep it from backing out in the future.
