How do I pronounce MOC
Hi Guys, I don't know if it's the school teacher in me.....but I am curious as to how to pronounce MOC. Do we just say Montana Owners Club??? Do we spell it out M-O-C or is it MOC that rhymes with clock, or MOC that rhymes with smoke??? I want to be prepared when we are fortunate enough to run into fellow MOCers. Thanks for your help!!! Marilyn

I believe it is either of the first three. I don't think MOC/smoke would be correct. I haven't had the pleasure to meet any MOCers yet but this has been addressed previously.
This does present another question though. If MOC rhymes with clock, and we are snowbirding, does this make us MOCing birds? Bob

Well, there are no rules. I it like lunch. I don't care what you call me, just call me. Some folks say tomahto and some say tomAto, but it tastes the same on the burger.

Most members say MOC (as in tock!). Those not in the know would not abbreviate. Many MOC members or MOCsters have MOC and their member number on their Montana too!
Yamaha_Mama 8057! on your Montana as an example.

Yamaha Mama, Bike rider or generator owner? Regardless, Welcome to "THE BEST DARNED FORUM ON THE WWW"!!!!!
Be careful, you might find yourself overwhelmed by the amount of great information here...
I have met many Montana owners since I started travelling and I find that most do not know what the MOC is or about, so, I address it as Montana Owners Club until they are familiar with it, then I use MOC (Tock), then MOC'ers (Tock'ers), Hope this makes sense.

Dear Phil and Cathy, Thanks for the input. We actually ride jet skis!! Haven't yet figured out how to bring them along....so thusfar we've stayed away from lakes....it would be too tempting!!! Thanks, Marilyn

I'm still laughing about the MOCing Birds! What a hoot!
We pronounce it also like tock without the t. MOC.
