New Montana

Hello everyone,

we are picking up our first 5th wheel this Saturday. Our new Montana is a 2008 2955RL. I will be asking a few questions so please bear with us. we currently have a 30' TT. I guess I am going to miss the old unit but i am excited about the new one.

Welcome aboard and congratulations. There is no such thing as a dumb question here, so fire away. That's how we all learned and continue to learn.

Congrats on the new Monty. We are in our first season with our 38ftr. We had a Class C previously so was a bit overwhelming at first, but this website and with trial and error we are very happy with ours. I see that you work at a Nuke plant. So does my husband. He's worked as a contractor for maintenance since 1982. Look forward to talking some more. Rosyriz

Vince,
Congrats on the new rig! I promise you will continue to love it the more you get to use it! By reading your last post in this thread, I can tell you will be fitting in the "family" quite well. Welcome!

Hello everyone,

We, Val & John, are owners of a new 2008 340RLQ Big Sky towed well by a 2004 GMC 3500 dually with a Duramax diesel and Ally tranny. A 2008 GMC 3500 DRW is due for delivery in October sometime.
We started with a AmeriaCamp but soon realized we needed the upgrade if we were going to continue camping. A maiden(read shakedown) trip was taken from Madison, Fl to Mt. Pleasant, Sc. The Big Sky is really great for us and Petey(Jack Russell terrier) and Webster our new little Chiweenie.
We look forward to a very active fall with our new rig.

Best to all...V & J

Hello:

We took delivery on our 2007 2955RL on April 14, 2007 and have had three trips -- we are booked for at least two more, before heading to Florida for the winter.

We took our nieces to Washington DC last month and were on the road for 11 days with stops in New York & Pennsylvania to and from.

We signed up for A KOA membership and have stayed in 4 differnt KOA parks and have been satisfied thus far

Best of Luck
