No problem Paul, glad to help.
You'll be impressed with how much more solid it is with the Steadyfast installed. We have the 6-point level-up which is much more stable than just jacks, but the Steadyfast even makes a difference on a rig with Level-Up.

Somewhat effective on non level up unit. Sold mine when I noticed it made no significant difference on my new unit with level up.

The tripod also seems it would be useless with the MorRyde pin box, as the unit floats even if there was a tripod attached.

I installed the Steady-fast stabilizers yesterday, and I must say, there was an immediate, noticeable difference. As advertised, they removed at least 98% of the movement. So thankful for this forum and the advice that everyone is willing to share from experience.
Since I haven't had a tripod or JT Strongarms, I don't have anything to compare to, but I would highly recommend this product. The Steady-fast owner gives you his personal cell number in case you have any questions or trouble during installation. I was impressed.

Tripods will help to keep you from banging your head on the hitch. It forces you to walk around instead of ducking underneath.

We just look at the spin cycle as a coin free massage for a few minutes each wash day...

I believe there is only 100 of the tripods in the world and people just keep passing them on. I know i did from the last rig very happy with the Level-Up and Steady fast combo in the new rig.

I have a washer and dryer in the front end of the trailer. When the washer is in spin dry, the trailer moves significantly. I put the tri-pod on and the movement diminishes by 80%.

Interesting. I see you have the six point leveling system. We are still old school with manual front jacks and rear stabilizers. Would be interesting to know just how much shake you had compared with what we had. But nothing short of side by side comparison would tell.
Tripod helped very little on ours with washer in spin cycle. JT Strongarm stabilizers resulted in the amount of shake reduction you experienced with a tripod.

I have the 6 point auto level now, but when I didn't, JT strong arms are the way to go....got rid of almost all the movement. Sold mine to a buddy and he loves them. not to mention with a tripod, if you got on a grade where you really have to extend the front landing gear, tripod wont work... JT strongarms

I've got the Level-Up system, and there is no difference at all in using the tripod or not, so I don't! I borrowed my buddies for a few days to give it a try. We went back and forth, with and without, walking all around the coach, and nothing at all changed on my 3400.

If money is no object, then Levelup or any other hydraulic system (BigFoot?) is the best way to go, but adds significant weight. You are definitely paying a lot for the convenience.
A less expensive but manual method is the JT Stabilizer or SteadyFast method which when installed don't take up any storage space since they are bolted to wherever they will be used (the SteadyFast is on my shopping list for it's simplicity).
I currently use the tripod, which has limited travel whereby I have needed to use it in combination with levelers to get more height so set up can take a while if the site is very unlevel front to back. It takes up a lot of room when storing and only stabilizes the front of my rig. The rear still shakes too much. It does help prevent knocking my head on the pin when it's installed.
If I ever get my SteadyFast system installed you can HAVE my tripod (I got it free as a gift). You'll just have to come and get it, or you can pay for the shipping when it's finally available.
