The motor does move freely. Did one leg quit moving or both.
The motor and reduction gear are held in place by the shaft that connects to the driver side leg. The reduction gear has two extensions "nobs" (one on each side) that help reduce the swing. The nobs are on each side of the landing leg.
Hope this helps. I can not help you trouble shoot without more info on the problem.
Good luck.

Both legs quit at the same time. THe motor runs and the connectins shaft spins. So I have a feeling its in the leg gears.
or maybe mother in law ran the legs up to far. Its in the shop as of today for surgery to have the Dodge removed and the legs fixed and hopefully not in that order.
I will let ytou know what they find. Since there are no real RV lot close by father in law is taking it to a machine shop with a good old boy that repairs big rig landing gear, this might get intresting.
Ciao from an old Squid
