Can you just go sit in it and think about spring? When we were camping I would go out and read in ours if the weather was nice enough. If it is close by can you toast marshmellows on the gas stove

Hope spring comes early and stays around without a hot summer.

I just got mine winterized but have not got a chance to put the cover on. It snowed here yesterday - up to 19 inches in some places. Just a few inches on the grass where I live. We hadn't had even a flake up to this point. Power went out yesterday morning and has not returned as of yet. It was 50 degrees on Monday.

It's going to be a long winter I'm afraid!!

What a bummer.

I (me) don't think I could live like that. When we get back to the stick house after a run around the country side, I always ask DW when we are leaving.

I sure couldn't do what Collen does. I'd cry sitting there not being able to go someplace.

I know the feeling of putting Monty in storage at the end of the season. Imagine the look on peoples faces when I did that at the end of May. We use Monty on our R&R in May(05 and 06) and headed back to Australia. It was starting to get cold over there.
Cheers,

We don't winterize until mid November or later. Still out every weekend and won't stop until the snow flies. And I don't mean a few cm either.

Cant stand the thought of "winterizing" so guess we'll hold off. We're going to live in it til December 1 and if possible even longer. Nice and toasty here inside in Michigan!!! Love the fireplace!

That is uncool, or is it cool, or cold, or something???? At least I am thankful for one more excursion, then before the trip back north comes the annual routine. Pink stuff here, and pink stuff there, and an occasional blast of air where the pink stuff don't reach. But there is one good part about the winter storage and winterization routine. We get to continue our adventures on the MOC forum!!!!! Just think, it won't be long before someone gets brave and starts some inanity such as a louvered tailgate thread!!!

Mary Elizabeth and I put the pink in Monty last Sunday. I had to stop winterizing to pull the rig down to the dealership this morning to have the frdge recall work done. Now that the recall is finished we will continue with the winterizing. It is always so sad but I do get to moon over Monty out our kitchen window all winter long and dream of all the places we want to go. Jon

Ditto...we winterized ours last week and I'm really depressed! We're waiting for our house to sell so we can move in full time to our 3400RL and travel to warmer climate! I really get depressed reading the posts of where everyone is heading to right now!! Just dreaming of that day when we can be one of "them." Soon, I hope!

Tommorow we will winterize our Monty. I think it may bring a tear to my eye. As others have mentioned, I have it in the yard and will fire up the furnace on a nice weekend and will watch sat tv. Come on spring.

We are fortunate enough that we keep the Montana parked at the stick house. Sometimes in the winter I will fire up the furnace and spend some time in the Monty. I enjoy getting in it and thinking about the coming season and what things I would like to do or change. Maybe even watch a movie. I just simply enjoy spending good quality time in it! It does help the long winter sometimes.
