New 3000 RK on order
Thanks to everyone for your help in making my decision on which floor plan to order. WE feel that the 3000RK is perfect for us. While we were trying to decide on floorplan the dealer informed me of the $4700 price increase by Keystone effective June 1st. However my dealer only passed $1100 to me. Still feel like I got a fair price.
I was told that they are now putting a flat screen tv with built in dvd player in the bedroom. And in January 09 they will start using Norcold refrigerators. Seems like Keystone is always making it better.

Congratulations, James! Wonder if those Norcold fridges are going to be bigger than 8 cu ft Dometic...

They should be the same size. The dealer said if the Dometric fridge goes out I could replace it with a Norcold since the measurements are the same.

Thanks, James. That makes sense. Just hoping they would use some of that newer, thinner (more expensive) insulation that allows for more cu ft in the same space as a 8 cu ft fridge.

Congratulations on the new rig!
Great news on the new features. Ours came in with some pleasant upgrades we didn't know anything about at the time we ordered.
Norcold is as good as any. Wonder if this is a reaction to the Dometic recall issues.

Curious, does your new 3000RK come with the rotating kitchen table which should allow you to get to the kitchen with the slide closed?

I have not heard about the table being able to rotate. Sounds like a great idea.
I should get it delivered around first week of august.
My salesman called me today and suggested that I upgrade to the alumenium wheels. He told me that the standard steel wheel looks like a white spoke wheel. He thought it make the Montana look a little cheap. So I went ahead and bought them.

Congratulations James! We agree on the 3000RK! It's also our choice.
We also ordered the 2009 3000RK. Should be delivered about the same time, first week of August. We signed the contract a few days before the price increase for the 10th Anniversary options. Our dealer noted the increase and spurred us to sign the contract before the increase.
Spoke to the Keystone Montana rep a week ago and he told me about the upgraded TV/DVD in the bedroom. He also says the Quest unit has Sony guts - we'll see. He could not tell me the model on the Goodyear tires. Or the maker of the central vac?
We ordered the fancy wheels, double pane glass, two AC units - We are in Florida! We love the rear kitchen and think the two slides will give the two of us plenty of room. We had a Cougar RK a few years ago.
Message me offline and we can compare notes on our incoming Montys....
Yes, they will come with the rotating table.....
Did you notice Keystone UPPED the weights on the coacha and also the pin weight? 11000# and 2455# I think.....happy we have an F350 SRW.
Bill
